As part of Zarraffa’s Coffee commitment to its backyard the company supports the below charities. These charities are all directly relevant to Zarraffa’s Coffee Queensland heritage and company values.
 

Ecoforce:

Ecoforce is a non-profit charitable foundation established to act as a framework to source and channel funding into necessary research; to investigate, in a highly transparent way pressing environmental and conservation issues.

The results of this research will be used as a baseline to provide business and government with concise data to enfold into the development of workable policy and economic decision making in the interests of sustainability and conservation not only in Queensland but across Australia.

ACT for Kids:

Zarraffa’s Coffee supports the ACT for Kids organisation by way of regular donations. ACT for Kids is a Queesland based organisation which works to prevent and treat child abuse. Offering therapy after child abuse in Queensland for over 20 years, ACT for Kids provides intensive therapy, safe houses and sexual abuse counselling for victims and their families. ACT for Kids also provides a kids Preschool, safety classes in schools, helps families at risk, mentors teens and offers child protection training.

Each year Zarraffa's Coffee participates in Clean Up Australia Day, Business Clean up. Tools go down and we don our bright coloured gloves and t-shirts to pick up the rubbish that pollutes our beaches, streets and waterways. Why? Because we believe this forms part our corporate responsibility to ensure that the community we live and work in (our backyard) is protected from the wear and tear of human development. You may be wondering about our contribution to this wear and tear as a business based on the sale of take-away goods; Zarraffa's Coffee is dedicated to continually finding methods of decreasing our environmental impact through research and sustainability efforts.

Product Donations:

Each year Zarraffa's Coffee supports numerous community groups and not for profit organistion with product donations for use in raffle prizes to raise funds for various charities supported by the group.

Guest Speaking:

Managing Director Kenton Campbell is often involved in guest speaking roles to various educational and business facilities i.e. universities, schools, business forums, and meetings and also religious communities looking for entrepreneurial motivation and an all-round good story. All money raised through this medium is donated to charitable organisations.
